The Fon network in France is formed by our standard Fon Spots and SFR WiFi Fon hotspots. Here is all you need to know so you can connect to our network in France as a Sharing member.
Sharing members can get access using two different ways:
seemlessly using a co-branded connecion manager app (only available for our partners customers in Portugal, Greece and Poland)
seemlessly using the Fon WiFi app (only available for active residential Fonera owners)
manually through a hotspot login page (following the below steps)
1. Sharing members through SFR
If you are a SFR subscriber with the Fon service enabled on your router:
- Look to see if a WiFi signal "SFR WiFi FON" is in range of your device and if so, connect to it.
- Open your web browser and wait for the SFR Fon login page to load. If it doesn't, type any web address, i.e. "www.bbc.com" into your browser's address bar.
- Log in with your username and password.
Once logged in, your session will start.

2. Sharing members through other ISP partners outside France
If you are a Fon ISP partner member with the Fon service enabled on your ISP router:
- Look to see if a WiFi signal "SFR WiFi FON" is in range of your device and if so, connect to it.
- Open your web browser and wait for the SFR Fon login page to load. If it doesn't, type any web address, i.e. "www.bbc.com" into your browser's address bar.
- Click on "Login here", on the bottom left side of the SFR Fon login page.
- You will be redirected to a new login page. Select the radio button "Other users" (for subscribers of ISP partners to Fon) and log in with your username and password.
Once logged in, your session will start.
Notes: if you have difficulties completing this process, please click here to go to the troubleshooting instructions.
3. Fonera owners
If you have an active Fonera:
- Look to see if a WiFi signal "SFR WiFi FON" is in range of your device and if so, connect to it.
- Open your web browser and wait for the SFR Fon login page to load. If it doesn't, type any web address, i.e. "www.bbc.com" into your browser's address bar.
- Click on "Login here", on the bottom left side of the SFR Fon login page.
- You will be redirected to a new login page. Select the radio button "Pass & Fon users" (for residential Fonera owners) and log in with your Fon username and password (correspond to the email address and password used during the registration of your Fonera).
Once logged in, your session will start.
Notes: if you have difficulties completing this process, please click here to go to the troubleshooting instructions.
