Here you will find troubleshooting instructions to help resolve potential issues, related to the Statistics:

  1. No statistics show in the statistics tab
  2. No demographic data show in the statistics tab
  3. Statistics not shown per AP
  4. Other

 

1. No statistics show in the statistics tab

Possible error message(s): N/A

Company User Guide reference: 4.1.1 Management Statistics tab (pp. 36-44)

For your information, statistics data will only be shown if the Company has assigned APs.

If there is/are no AP/s in your Company account, please go through the registration process to add an AP through any of the following links:

If there is/are AP/s in your Company account, please submit a support ticket providing the following information:

  • SubjectCompany name
  • Brief description of the issue and related actions taken + 
    • User email to access the console
  • Select My Console > Statistics
  • MAC of the Fonera for Business
  • Date and time the issue took place (approximately)

 

2. No demographic data show in the statistics tab

Possible error message(s): N/A

Company User Guide reference: 4.1.1.3 Demographic statistics (pp. 44-48)

For your information, only demographic data from customers connecting through Facebook will show. The most probable cause for this behaviour is that no customers have connected through Facebook in the selected timespan so far.

Also, demographic information updates approximately every 2 hours (updates every hour, and presents updates that took place within the two previous hours).

If you connected yourself through Facebook but nothing shows after 2 hours, please submit a support ticket providing the following information:

  • SubjectCompany name
  • Brief description of the issue related actions taken +
    • User email to access the console
    • Facebook account used (email)
  • Select My Console > Statistics
  • MAC of the Fonera for Business
  • Date and time the issue took place (approximately)

 

3. Statistics not shown per AP

Possible error message(s): N/A

Company User Guide reference: 4.1.1.3 Demographic statistics (pp. 36-48)

If you own several APs under the same company name, the statistics shown in your console refer to the information collected from all your APs

If you wish to obtain the statistics on a given AP, you would have to unregister it from your current company account, and register it again under a different company name. This means that instead of monitoring your statistics from one unique console, you would have access to a console per AP.

If you cannot achieve this action, please submit a support ticket providing the following information:

  • SubjectCompany name
  • Brief description of the issue related actions taken +
    • User email to access the console
    • Facebook account used (email)
  • Select My Console > Statistics
  • MAC of the Fonera for Business
  • Date and time the issue took place (approximately)

In this case, please submit a support ticket providing the following information and providing as many details as possible:
