From your laptop:

When you are in the vicinity (coverage area) of a Fon Spot:

  • Switch on wireless capability
  • Select the Fon Spot signal (i.e.: FON_FREE_INTERNET) via the WiFi signal icon in your system tray and connect (click here for specific instructions for your operating system)
  • Open your web browser and a Fon login page will appear. If it doesn't, type in any web address, for example: 'www.wikipedia.org' into your browser's address bar.
  • Log in by entering your username and password - a new web browser window will open confirming that you're connected.
  • If you are a Fon member through your "Box de SFR" (ADSL ou fibre),your email address (e.g. my-login@sfr.fr) prefixed by "SFR/" and the corresponding password. (e.g. SFR/my-login@sfr.fr).
  • Oi suscribers : the login details for trying to access to any FON_FREE_INTERNET spots, is your Oi WiFi account, ( telefone Fixo ou Móvel + DDD, suffixed by "@oiwifi" (e.g: 2136442789@oiwifi) and your Oi WiFi account password.
  • Netia subscribers have to logon by adding '#netia' right after their registered email address (e.g. jan.nowak@gmail.com#netia) and their password.

Note: If you are not a Fon member yet, you can create a Fon account on the Fon login page. If you have just registered and are not yet sharing WiFi with other Fon members,  you will need to purchase a Fon pass to gain access.
